L. Hill wrote his first song at the age of twelve after the tragic death of three family members in remembrance of them. Throughout the years he would lose friends to incarceration and gun violence, but music was always an escape. Creating music was therapeutic, but not his main focus until he met the label owner of Explorer Entertainment.

L. Hill released his first solo album “Pain Music” featuring artists Mr. D. Swagg, and Versechange in March of 2013 that led to the track “L.E.A.Y.” featuring Mr. D. Swagg, and Amanda being placed on OVO Radio Ep. 9. “We Suffered for This: Me and Mine” was released in April of 2015, and sparked interest from a distribution company named Sugo Music Group resulting in an exclusive deal for the label Explorer Entertainment.

March of 2016  his third solo album “All Nighters” was released premiering on the Amazon Best Sellers Rank: #10,000 in Digital Music in Rap and Hip-Hop. His fourth solo project “Asset” followed the next year 2017 leading to multiple projects being licensed by The Orchard.

L. Hill wrote and is the co-executive producer of the Rhythm and Blues singles “Right or Wrong” and “I See” for a phenomenal artist named Valissa. “Right or Wrong” debuted on the Amazon Best Sellers Rank at #1, 812 Paid in Albums, and “I See” debuted at #2,591 Digital Music in songs, and Rhythm and Blues.

L. Hill firmly believes giving quality over quantity pertaining to his projects, and gives much gratitude to the people that supports his music.
